4 Mar 2017I had one of these. The price seemed too good to be true. Turns out, you get what you pay for.
I bought it to take with me to Yellowstone in the winter. At 15 below zero, the camera worked fine. The kit 35-70 worked fine. But this lens, the 70-210mm f/4.5-5.6 AiS, locked at 210 and wouldn’t budge. It came free later in the day and worked for the rest of the trip. After returning to California, it locked at 210 again and would not budge.
I would not recommend this lens to anyone, unless you need an impressive looking, plastic paperweight.
