I have not even seen the 7600i Ai yet. And BHphotovideo.com does not even list this new scanner.

		<description>If it&#039;s just on scanning film, I would recommend the Plustek 7600i Ai (the successor of the mentioned 7500i) for the fact, that it isn&#039;t that expensive (even though SilverFast is bundled), but a high-end film scanner.
If money doesn&#039;t matter (and if it&#039;s really about scanning tons of slides), I would choose the Nikon 5000 with the slide feeder, but also and in any case a professional scanning software, like the SilverFast Archive Suite. IT8 scanner calibration, Multi-Exposure and other features do increase image quality and decrease manual photoshop post processing.</description>
